Side-Scrolling Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Game Arriving In October: Yes, Please!


Activision will debut a new side-scrolling Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game in October.

The gaming provider announced the arrival of the new game in a press release on Monday. The new offering is based on the Nickelodeon animated series.

Activision describes the new game as a “side-scrolling action-brawler” that contains “loads of combat and animated scenes.”

The new TMNT game is part of a multi-year, three-game partnership between Activision and Nickelodeon.

The two company’s announced their new partnership in February 2013.

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game will launch in North America on October 22. The following day the game will launch in Asian and Australia. Finally, on October 25, the TMNT video game will launch in Europe and Latin America.

The new game is coming to the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii, and Xbox 360.

As a kid and into my teens, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle games were some of my favorite thanks to their innovative arcade and home gameplay. Here’s to hoping that the new side-scrolling TMNT games live up to their past.
