Batman Superman Movie Announced For Summer 2015

Batman and Superman fans were thrilled at the news that 2015 will see a movie featuring the “Man of Steel” and the “Dark Knight” together on the big screen.

Warner Bros shocked fans when it announced that the dream team, consisting of David S. Goyer, Christopher Nolan, and director Zack Snyder, will be combining talents to bring Batman and Superman together in the upcoming movie, slated for release in the summer of 2015.

The new movie will see a star studded cast, including, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, and of course Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane. The actor who will assume the role of Batman himself has not yet been announced.

Greg Silverman, who is the President of Creative Development and Worldwide Production at Warner Bros. spoke about Zack Snyder. the director of the Batman Superman movie saying:

“Zack Snyder is an incredibly talented filmmaker, but beyond that, he’s a fan first and he utterly gets this genre. We could not think of anyone better suited to the task of bringing these iconic Super Heroes to the screen in his own way.”

Sue Kroll, the President of Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution at Warner added:

“We are thrilled to be back in business with Zack and his team on this next movie. The success of ‘Man of Steel’ is a wonderful testament to the love and support that both fans and new audiences, worldwide, have for these characters. We are very excited to see what Zack has in store for all of us.”

Snyder himself spoke during his surprise appearance at Comic-Con, when he broke the news of the new superhero movie:

“I’m so excited to begin working again with Henry Cavill in the world we created, and I can’t wait to expand the DC Universe in this next chapter. Let’s face it, it’s beyond mythological to have Superman and our new Batman facing off, since they are the greatest Super Heroes in the world.”
