’30 Rock’ Star Carries Grown Man Around New York Like A Baby [Video]

Grizz Chapman who starred in Tina Fey’s 30 Rock as Grizz, has taken part in a comedy skit which saw him strap a grown man to his chest and carry him around New York like a baby.

36-year-old comedian Mark Malkoff has been producing videos via his MyDamnChannel YouTube account for several months. These have seen him attempt to convince Bill Murray to come over for dinner, and he has also convinced the likes Bridesmaids’ director, Paul Feig, actress Justine Bateman, and Camryn Manheim to let him sleep at their houses.

Grizz Chapman, who starred alongside Tina Fey in the hit comedy and comes to a whopping seven-foot tall, was asked to carry Malkoff around the Upper West Side inside an adult-sized harness that was strapped across the front of his body.

As you would expect the stunt bemused those passing by, with a hoard of people taking pictures and recording footage of the incident, and Malkoff has now uploaded a film of the incident to YouTube which has garnered over 250,000 views.

Malkoff labeled the video as an experiment and he wanted to see what it is like to “have it so easy.” Chapman is seen carrying the comedian, who has written for The Colbert Report, around the subway, and past pedestrians, all whilst Malkoff eats a snack, takes nap, and talks on his phone.

Malkoff, who weighs in at 130 pounds, told Today what inspired him to do the experiment, remarking, “Living in New York City, wherever I go I see parents with babies in Baby Bjorns strapped to their chests. I was a bit envious how easy babies had it. Also, it got me thinking it might be a fun way to see the city.”

Malkoff remarked on people’s enthusiastic responses to the incident, stating, “People have responded to it because it’s pure fun. I think they probably… appreciate how hard it was for me to pull off… the challenge was in successfully strapping me to Grizz, which took a while to figure out.”
