Queen Jokes About Kate Middleton Pregnancy, She Wants To Go On Holiday

The Queen has joked that she wants Kate Middleton to hurry up and have the Royal baby, because she wants to go on holiday.

The Monarch was asked whether she wanted The Duchess Of Cambridge to have either or a boy or a girl, but she then responded, “I don’t think I mind. I would very much like it to arrive. I’m going on holiday.”

The Queen was asked this question by a schoolgirl as she paraded around Cumbria, in Northern England, and she is set to start her holiday in the Scottish Highlands at Balmoral from next week.

After asking her the question, Fay, who is a pupil at Wiggonby Church of England Primary School, later told reporters it was “really, really exciting” to speak to her.

Kate Middleton is due to give birth any day now, and a hoard of press from across the world are currently gathered outside St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington awaiting the birth of the child.

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s first child was originally due on July 11, however the pregnancy is still yet to emerge and now people are speculating that the royal family actually lied about her due date.

Recently, Camilla, the wife of Prince Charles, William’s father, also spoke about the impending birth, remarking, “We are all just waiting by the telephone. We are hopeful that by the end of the week he or she will be here.”

However, as The Inquisitr reported earlier, this seems unlikely as they would probably give a later date, rather than an earlier one.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first child will be the next in line to the throne of the after Prince Charles and then her father, William.

Are you excited about the birth of the royal baby? Do you think it will be a boy or a girl?
