Samsung Reveals Tab Launch Details


Samsung has announced the launch details for its iPad competitor, the Samsung Tab, and it looks like buyers are going to get a wealth of choice.

The big news is that all four U.S. wireless carriers: Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile will be offering the Samsung Tab to their customers, although at what price we don’t know yet with each carrier offering individual plans.

The tablet will be on sale before Christmas, runs Android 2.2 (Froyo) and is powered by a Cortex A8 1 GHz processor with 16GB of onboard memory. Just to make iPad owners jealous, the Tab sports a 3-megapixel, rear-facing camera with flash and a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front for video chat,

Along with the ability to purchase music, TV and movie content, the killer feature for the Samsung Tab is what it also supports: Adobe Flash, opening the full world of online entertainment to its users.
