New Trailer For ‘Jobs’ Premieres On Instagram


A new trailer for the upcoming indie, Jobs has made its debut on the popular social media sharing site Instagram, which recently introduced a new feature that allows users to not only share photos. but videos.

Keeping the innovative topic of the film, the studio released the trailer on Instagram, a move that marks the first time this is done.

The Wolverine starring Hugh Jackman, did something similar when it launched one of its trailers on competitor site Vine.

The clip which is only 15 seconds in length, shows different scenes from the film and Ashton Kutcher, who plays former Apple CEO Steve Jobs is heard reciting what would become one of Jobs’ campaign slogans.

“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”

The new film Jobs, which is different from the Sony Pictures version, is based on the Walter Isaacson’s biography of the late Steve Jobs, and hits theaters on Aug. 16.

It stars Ashton Kutcher as Jobs and Josh Gad as fellow Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.

In the first ever trailer launched on Instagram, Ashton Kutcher depicts Steve Jobs who died in 2011 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Jobs is the story of Steve Jobs’ ascension from college dropout into one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of the 20th century.

The film has an estimated budget of $8.5 million and is produced by Open Roads Films. Jobs is directed by Joshua Michael Stem, with a screenplay by Matthew Whiteley. It stars Ashton Kutcher (Two and a Half Men) as Steve Jobs, Dermot Mulroney (Space Warriors), James Woods (White House Down), and Josh Gad (1600 Penn).
