Amarillo skateboarder stops Koran burning- “Dude, you have no Koran”

If you somehow missed it, there’s been a bit of a debate in the US lately over whether burning the Koran is an acceptable method of protest.

Some d-bag in Florida tried to organize a rally to burn Korans, but he really just wanted the President to call him and tell him to please not do that. That particular spectacle sadly wasn’t the only one of its ilk in the days surrounding the 9th anniversary of September 11th, and one group of supposed Christians gathered in a Texas park last weekend with plans to publicly burn some Korans. Luckily for those who find that offensive, a shirtless skateboarder stepped in to save the day:

…Jacob Isom, the shirtless dude clutching his skateboard in the picture above, swooped in.

“I snuck up behind him and took his Koran,” Isom chuckles in the news report below. “He said something about burning the Koran. I was like, ‘Dude, you HAVE no Koran,’ and I took off.'”

Isom later gave the rescued Koran to a grateful but unidentified leader of an Amarillo Muslim congregation, who in the picture above clutches the book in one hand and Isom in the other.
