Steam Summer Sale Day Two Slashes Prices On ‘Black Ops II,’ ‘The Walking Dead,’ And More

The annual Steam summer sale officially kicked off yesterday with a slew of great deals, and day two of the sale has even more great titles on offer on the cheap.

Before getting on to the main sale, it should be noted that there are some incredible Flash Deals going on right now. XCOM: Enemy Unknown, one of the greatest games of last year according to critics, is on sale for only $9.99. If you want to get in on that deal, you’ll have to act fast – the Flash Sales will be shuffled once again at 8PM PDT.

Also currently under a Flash Sale is Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien for $7.49; dungeon crawler throwback Legend of Grimrock for $3.74; and Ubisoft’s critically acclaimed Far Cry 3 for $23.99.

The current Community Choice sale, which expires around the same time as the Flash Sale, is offering up Grand Theft Auto IV for $4.99. Bear in mind that this is the standard version; if you want all of the downloadable content, you will have to pick up the Complete Edition for an agreeable $7.49, which is slashed by 75 percent from its usual price.

As for the standard sale, there are some pretty good deals to be had there as well. Indie darling Fez is available for $4.99; Call of Duty: Black Ops II is available for $29.99; DarkSiders II had its price slashed by 80 percent, putting it at $8.99; and Just Cause 2, the wildly addictive open-world game from Avalance, is available for only $2.99.

Cult hit Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, which recently was updated with Steam Trading Card support, is also on sale for $6.74, down 75 percent from its usual price of $24.99.

If there’s something you’d like to see go on sale, there’s plenty of time left – the sale will go on until July 22, and new deals will be added on a daily basis. Flash Sales and Community Choice Sales will offer even more chances at good deals multiple times throughout the day.
