Demi Moore, Rumer Willis Head To Yoga Event In New Mexico

Demi Moore and her daughter Rumer Willis recently attended a yoga event in New Mexico.

The two actresses reportedly attended the “White Tantric Meditation” event last month. Moore is said to have taken a serious interest in yoga after famously splitting with long-time boyfriend Ashton Kutcher.

Demi Moore and Rumer Willis attempted to “break through the subconscious blocks that enslave the mind” during their three-day excursion in the Jemez Mountains. According to, the Disclosure star participated in a special Kundalini yoga Summer Solstice event during her stay.

Moore and daughter weren’t alone during the three-day yoga event in New Mexico. TMZ reports that the actresses took part in something called the “Blind Walk Meditation.” The website claims Moore and Willis had to close their eyes, join hands with 10 other people, and chant “Waheguru” while walking around in white robes.

The point of this exercise is to help build trust with other people. It’s also designed to help people strengthen their other senses while getting in tune with nature.

According to The Nation, Demi Moore has become such a fan of yoga that she is reportedly interested in becoming an instructor. Since Hollywood has essentially stopped calling, the actress wants to shift gears.

“Demi is acutely aware that her star has faded in Hollywood. Acting offers aren’t coming in and, at her age, Demi realistically knows she’s considered over the hill in youth-obsessed Hollywood,” an industry insider explained.

The anonymous individual added, “She also credits Kundalini with helping her recover from the emotional issues surrounding her drug-induced seizure and hospitalization last year.”

Moore’s most recent big-screen endeavor was writer-director Naomi Foner’s Very Good Girls. The actress starred alongside Dakota Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen, and Peter Sarsgaard in the drama. She also starred in the 2012 Miley Cyrus box office bomb LOL.
