Comedian Robert Schimmel, who aside from his act was known for surviving cancer and a heart attack, died Friday of injuries sustained in a car crash late in August.
According to TIME, Schimmel was driving with his two children when he swerved to avoid an accident. Schimmel’s kids, whose ages were not specified, survived the crash. Schimmel was listed in critical condition following the August 26th accident, but died of his injuries on September 3rd.
