Channing Tatum Walks Through LAX With Baby Daughter Everly Strapped To His Chest

Channing Tatum showed off his baby daughter Everly in a walk through LAX, showing he’s not afraid to get close to his newborn.

Channing and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum brought their baby girl to LAX on Saturday en route to Canada. Channing Tatum was seen holding Everly in a sling on his chest while Jenna walked the family’s dog, a Japanese Spitz named Meeka.

For Channing, who has been busy promoting White House Down, it was a rare moment to spend with family.

“I’m away from her for 12-13 hours and I feel like I come home and I feel like she’s changed—like her face looks different,” he told E! News. “You feel like every minute that you miss is horrible.”

But though he has a knack for playing some rough characters on-screen, Channing isn’t afraid to gush about how much he loves his baby.

“I’ve never been so excited when something poos,” he said last month on Good Morning America. “I just get so amped up because I’m in the game now. The mom does so much of the early work those first few weeks and I’m just like, ‘Put me in the game. Put me in the game.’ I’ve gotten so good at like changing diapers, swaddling and then get it back before she cries.”

Though he’s enthusiastic, Channing said that being a new dad was “pretty terrifying.” Channing also admits that he’s been very busy with work, and credits his wife for all the amazing work she’s done so far.

That includes the delivery room.

“There’s a real reason why God did not give men the ability to have babies, because we would not be able to do it. I don’t know how women do it. It’s a real thing. It’s like National Geographic animal-style for real. I don’t get it.”
