The Kim Sears Effect? Victoria Beckham Dress Starts Selling Out After Wimbledon

Andy Murray may have been the one to win Wimbledon this week but his girlfriend Kim Sears was the one who walked away with all of the attention.

Sears, 25, wore a variety of stylish dresses during the Wimbledon tournament this week and may have even contributed to some big sales. The young artist was spotted wearing a dress from the Victoria Beckham Spring 2013 collection during the Wimbledon final and wouldn’t you know it, the $1200 dress is now on back order.

The Huffington Post reports that in addition to the fashionable Rose Lace Overlay Dress, Kim Sears was also spotted carrying a pink Mulberry Willow Bag. Earlier this week, Sears was also seen wearing a floral Zara dress and an orange frock from Hobbs.

Kate Middleton and Michelle Obama have been carrying the fashion queen torch for the last few years but now that Middleton is officially on maternity leave it looks like there’s an opening for the fashion icon position. Sears brought in over a half million Google searches during Wimbledon and already has had a Tumblr page set up in honor of her fashion sense.

Sears and Murray have been dating for 7 years, according to US Weekly, but this is the first time that she’s sat court side to watch her boyfriend play.

Murray said: “It’s the first time Kim has come to a tournament… That made me quite relaxed. I’ll have to take her to some more.”
