Amanda Bynes, Lindsay Lohan Get Advice From Helen Mirren [Video]

Helen Mirren gave some insightful advice to troubled stars like Amanda Bynes and Lindsay Lohan today. The actress, who is currently promoting her new movie Red 2, said that the most important thing for young stars today was not to be up their own bums.

Those are Helen’s words not mine.

The Hollywood icon was asked what she would tell troubled young starlets during an interview this week with Joelle Garguilo.

Mirren responded: “I don’t know if you’re allowed to say this on television: Don’t be up your own bum … People get up their own [bum], and you really don’t need to. It’s the thing of the young, and just don’t do that.”

Lohan was recently sentenced to a stint in rehab after a series of legal problems that stretch back several years. Bynes has also had her share of legal trouble recently. After nearly a year of reckless driving the former actress had her license taken away. She was also recently arrested after she allegedly threw a bong out of her apartment window.
