Jarret Stoll Seizure: Kings Player, Erin Andrews’ Boyfriend, Rushed To Hospital

Jarrett Stoll suffered a seizure Wednesday morning, but reports say the Los Angeles Kings player and boyfriend of Erin Andrews is expected to make a full recovery.

The Kings center was taken to the hospital early Wednesday after suffering a seizure at his home in Hermosa Beach, the team’s general manager, Dean Lombardi, said.

After Stoll suffered the seizure he was put through a series of tests, but doctors reportedly found no major issues.

“Everything is OK. They’ve run some tests and they still had another one to run,” Lombardi told The Los Angeles Times. “The bottom line is that he’s fine. Now the issue is what caused it.

“There are a myriad of things that can cause them.”

There is no word on whether Stoll’s seizure is related to a head injury he suffered in the 2013 NHL postseason. In Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinal against the San Jose Sharks he was hit by winger Raffi Torres and taken out of the game. Stoll was out for the rest of series, not returning until the Western Conference finals against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Stoll has had problems with head injuries in the past. He battled with concussions in the 2006-07 season while playing for the Edmonton Oilers.

For the past few months, Stoll has been famous not only for his on-ice talents but for his off-ice love life. The Kings player has been connected to sports correspondent Erin Andrews. The two were spotted together on New Year’s Eve with another famous couple, John Legend and model Chrissy Teigen.

Andrews, who recently left ESPN to join Fox Sports, confirmed that she and Stoll were a couple. When someone commented on a picture of the pair that her “boyfriend is smoking,” Andrews answered affirmatively: “haha..yes he is! Happy New Year”

After Stoll suffered the seizure he was released from the hospital within hours.
