GinaMarie Zimmerman Fired: Big Brother Contestant Joins Aaryn Gries In The Unemployment Line

And another one bites the dust. Shortly after Big Brother contestant Aaryn Gries was fired from her modeling job for using racial slurs on the CBS show, fellow contestant GinaMarie Zimmerman received the news that she had lost her job at East Coast USA Pageant, Inc.

Zimmerman was caught dropping the N-word on the CBS show. Zimmerman used the word when she referred to welfare as “N—er insurance.”

East Coast Pageants was not pleased to hear Zimmerman using that type of language on the show. The company said that they were particularly disappointed because they encouraged their other young models to vote for Zimmerman on the show and said that the girls look up to GinaMarie as a role model.

The company released a statement today saying that they had fired GinaMarie Zimmerman.

The company said: “We have never known this side of GinaMarie or have ever witnessed such acts of racism in the past. We are actually thankful that this show let us see GinaMarie for who she truly is. We would never want her to be a role model to our future contestants. In a business where we are surrounded by beauty every day we are saddened to see something so ugly come from someone we put on a very high pedestal.”

Big Brother contestant Aaryn Gries also lost her job this week. Gries, who managed to insult gays, Asians and black people all at once, was fired from Zephyr Talent this week.

Zephyr said: “Aaryn, season 15 cast member of Big Brother, revealed prejudices and other beliefs that we (Zephyr Talent) do not condone. We certainly find the statements made by Aaryn on the live Internet feed to be offensive. Upon much consideration, we have decided to release Aaryn from her contract with Zephyr Talent.”

A petition has been started to get Aaryn and Zimmerman out of the Big Brother house but CBS said that they wouldn’t intervene in the voting process. The network released a statement saying that they did not condone the language used by Aaryn Gries and GinaMarie Zimmerman but added that Big Brother is all about filming people 24/7.

Here’s a video of some of the racist remarks used by Gries and Zimmerman.

Do you think the modeling agencies made the right decision by firing the Big Brother contestants?
