Oral Sex Photo Gets Teen Girl Arrested

A 15-year-old girl from Florida was arrested Monday for possessing an oral sex photo of another teen girl and her boyfriend.

The teen took a photo of her friend and boyfriend having oral sex and was later charged with felony child porn.

The two apparently had a fight and the friend showed the photo to her classmates. An 18-year-old male student who saw the photo posted it on Twitter.

“There’s no bringing it back,” Detective William Lindsey said. “There’s no way to know how many people saved that picture on their device.”

“More and more teenagers are sending pictures of themselves and each other in compromising poses,” Lindsey said. “We want children and parents to know that this is a felony. It’s not just some silly thing that won’t have a long-term effect on your life.”

Lindsey added that possession of child pornography is a crime no matter what age someone is. “If she had taken a picture of herself in sexual conduct, she could be charged with child pornography.”

“A major crimes detective came to her house and put her in handcuffs and took her away to the juvenile assessment center. If that doesn’t make an impression on a 15-year-old girl, I don’t know what will,” Lindsey said.

Lindsey said that he is also issuing an arrest warrant for the 18-year-old student who posted the explicit photo on Twitter.

This isn’t the first time a teen has been arrested over child pornography. In 2011, a 15-year-old boy from Portage, Ind. was arrested for having naked pictures of two girls on his cell phone.

Police looked at his phone after receiving a phone call from the mother of one of the two girls. She told police that the boy threatened to post the pictures of the girl on MySpace if she didn’t lend him her saxophone.
