Former MTV VJ Kennedy: Michael Jordan Tried To Take My Virginity

Former MTV VJ Kennedy claimed that Michael Jordan tried to take her virginity over a dice game.

In her new memoir, The Kennedy Chronicles: The Golden Age of MTV Through Rose Colored Glasses, the 40-year-old says that she was dining with Jordan and Russell Simmons at the Bowery Bar in New York City when they all began playing a game of dice.

Shortly into the game, Jordan told Kennedy, who was a virgin at the time, “If I win, you come back to my hotel room with me tonight.” Kennedy said she was afraid Jordan would “eviscerate me from the inside out.” She asked if they could play for Knicks tickets, and Jordan offered Nets tickets instead and mentioned his then-wife, Juanita Vanoy.

“Sure, he’ll filet my vag like a sea bass if he won at dice on a men’s room floor,” Kennedy wrote. “But as soon as I want basketball tickets he’s a Promise Keeper?”

Kennedy wrote that she ended up winning the game.

Lisa Kennedy Montgomery was the host of MTV’s alternative rock program Alternative Nation throughout much of the 1990s.  She first started as an intern at KROQ-FM in Los Angeles in 1991, where she was known as “The Virgin Kennedy.” A year later, she took a VJ job at MTV, hosting Alternative Nation until 1997.

After MTV, Kennedy bounced around between radio morning shows and game show hosting jobs. In 2005, she became an occasional panelist for VH1’s Best Week Ever and MSNBC’s Scarborough County. She is currently a contributor for and

Kennedy isn’t the only one Jordan tried to hook up with while he was married. A Georgia woman named Pamela Smith claimed that she had an affair with the NBA legend in 1995 which produced a son, Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds. The boy goes by the name Taj and is an aspiring rapper, and posted a YouTube video saying that he was Michael Jordan’s son and he wanted him to be in his life more. Smith said she would like the court to change her son’s last name to Jordan, and said that she “welcomes” a paternity test. She never planned to sue Jordan, but did so at her son’s urging.
