Hugh Jackman Gay? Actor Annoyed With Persistent Rumors [Rumors]
Hugh Jackman is not gay.
The actor has been the subject of gay rumors throughout his career and Wolverine is pretty much fed up with it. The actor, who has been married to his wife Deborra-Lee Furness for the last 17 years, said that the rumors can get pretty annoying sometimes.
“It’s, to me, not the most interesting thing about a person, anyway… I do get frustrated for Deb, cause I see Deb go, ‘Ah, this is just crazy!'”
Furness added: “It is just wrong, it’s like, it’s a lie…It’s just offensive. If he was gay, fine, he would say he’s gay. It has gotten so out of whack … it’s stupid, and yeah, it’s annoying, because it’s not true.”
Jackman and Furness met on the set of the TV drama Correlli in 1995 and have been dating ever since. They were married since 1996 and have two kids together.
“She was very beautiful. She was unbelievably fun — this energy, this spirit — irrepressible. And she had a confidence in herself. I had a massive crush on her instantly.”
