Alec Baldwin, and his heavily pregnant wife, Hilaria, took to Twitter today whilst they were attending the funeral of The Sopranos legend, James Gandolfini.
Hilaria in particular was tweeting about a variety of activities, which included her upcoming baby shower, even though she was surrounded by grieving members of James Gandolfini's family and friends.
Hilaria's messages included recommendations for ideas about wedding anniversary gifts, promotional notes about her appearance on the Rachel Ray show,
The heavily pregnant 29-year-old, who is set to give birth over the coming months, did find time to praise James Gandolfini in between her messages to @theminimagazine, a retweet of a "cute pic" from her baby shower, a retweet from @RachaelRayShow, a message about her "making smoothies with @rachael_ray," some banter about recipes with the aforementioned Ray, and a plea for first wedding anniversary gift ideas.
Her Tweet about Gandolfini read, "The circle of life is unbelievable--birth, life, death... Please take care of yourselves as life is fragile. Rest in Peace Jimmy.
Alec wasn't much better, as just before he honored Gandolfini he decided to promote his latest movie, Dirty Wars, which he then followed up with, "The end of The Sopranos has a different meaning to me now. Rest in Peace, Jimmy." The 30 Rock star then posted a link to an article on Gandolfini's funeral.
Gandolfini's funeral was a sombre affair, with his widow, Deborah Lin, able to talk about her husband through her grief, stating that Gandolfini "cared more about others than himself" before adding that she enjoyed watching him be a wonderful father to his two children."
Lin also remarked, "Jim, one of the things I loved the most was watching you be the father that you were to Michael and Lily. Thank you for the memories of the beautiful life we shared together. I love you Jim and I always will. Rest in Peace."
