Miley Cyrus Hires Superfan As Summer Assistant [Video]

Have hope, countless fan club presidents across the world! The celebs do notice you. Miley Cyrus has seen all of the hard work one superfan has put into sharing Miley-related news, tweets and videos, and has decided to bring her on as her assistant for the summer.

Cyrus says she owes the superfan, whom she calls her “stalker,” for boosting her digital image and has decided to reward her with a job opportunity.

“She’s actually flying out here and staying with my mom this summer. She’s gonna work for me for the summer,” she told Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday.

She declined to name her superfan, but said that her job will be to make new songs and videos trend on relevant websites.

“No one tells me anything, I’m the last to know everything. I didn’t even know about a schedule today. I didn’t know what time I was gonna be here. She’s more than a stalker because she’s actually so obsessed … she knows things about how to break Vevo records, which we did with her help. … She knows what has to be done and what amount of time to, like, be No. 1 to break the record.”

Cyrus even gave the superfan her personal phone number, but not before testing the waters.

“When I first called her, I called her off my friend’s phone, but then I just started texting her all the time. I bet she gets more annoyed with me than I get with her because I hit her up all the time. I’m like, ‘Yo, how are we gonna make this happen? You’ve gotta make the fans trend this …’ She’s really amazing.”

Miley Cyrus is currently enjoying a new milestone with “We Can’t Stop” breaking Justin Bieber’s previous record for the most views within its first 24 hours on Vevo. Perhaps that’s her social influencer / superfan assistant’s handiwork.
