Nancy Pelosi: ‘Who Cares’ About Michele Bachmann’s Objections To Gay Marriage

The Supreme Court issued a few major rulings today about Prop 8 and DOMA. People around the country found themselves jumping for joy when they heard the news while others held onto their core beliefs and shamed the justices for acting against God’s will.

When Nancy Pelosi was asked to respond to comments made by high-profile GOP members like Michele Bachmann, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi shrugged her shoulders and said: “Who cares.”

The reporter asks: “Congresswoman Bachmann put out a statement today that essentially said that the decision today can not undo God’s word. Can you react to that?”

Pelosi responded: “Who cares.”

Pelosi gave a slightly longer statement when she took to the podium to applaud the Supreme Court for their decision.

Pelosi said: “This ruling will only make us work harder in the courts, in the state legislatures, everywhere, to ensure that all men and women in every part of our country are granted equal rights no matter who they love.”

Bachmann, of course, doesn’t believe that the Supreme Court should be playing with God’s will.

Bachmann said: “The Supreme Court, though they may think so, have not yet arisen to the level of God.”

Here’s the video of Nancy Pelosi responding to Michele Bachmann’s comments.
