Henry Cavill Talks About ‘Justice League’

In a recent interview Henry Cavill was asked about Justice League, the movie about all the best superheroes coming together to save the world from threatening enemies.

Of course, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Henry is the newest Superman in the remake Man of Steel and is rumored to be lined up to reprise the role for Justice League.

All of this is purely speculative, be there seems to be daily rumors about this film on way or another. Man of Steel director Zack Snyder as well as its writer David S. Goyer are also rumored to be part of the project.

Variety reports that the actor commented on the film during recent promotion of Man of Steel saying that it wouldn’t be done anytime soon. He did not say it wouldn’t happen though.

Henry Cavill noted the big difference between the Marvel superheroes and DC characters.

Justice League could be great if done correctly. It’s a very tough one to do because the DC comic heroes are all god-like in their power. So in this real world universe, real-world setting we’re telling our story in, it’s going to be tough to achieve that. It has to be done very delicately with a lot of thought. So, it won’t be right away. I hope it’s not, anyway. It may take some time of building up other movies and other characters and introducing them together in one way or another.” Henry Cavill said.

He is talking as if it’s almost a sure thing that he will be involved. Snyder has said that he needs to develop Superman further before immersing the character in Justice League.

These are all very subtle hints, and with the success of not only Man of Steel, but the Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America franchises a Justice League film seems the next likely project to take place.

Would you be excited to see Henry Cavill play Superman in Justice League?
