Bryan Cranston: ‘Ryan Gosling’s Skin Is As Smooth As A Baby’s A**’
Bryan Cranston, the star of Breaking Bad and Drive, has been talking about Ryan Gosling, his co-star in Nicolas Winding Refn’s 2011 arthouse epic, revealing that his skin is as smooth as a baby’s behind.
Cranston took part in a Reddit question and answer session, and when he was asked, “Is Gosling’s skin as soft as it looks?!” He responded, “As supple as a baby’s ass.”
The actor also revealed that he worked as a villain on the Power Rangers, stating, “I did voice work for the Power Rangers years and years ago. Someone once told me they named the blue Power Ranger after me – his last name was Cranston. I found out years later that was true.”
Whilst he also joked, presumably, that the funniest thing he had ever seen on set revolved around “a guy who was hit by a crane and killed instantly,” before adding that he “couldn’t stop laughing” at the incident. Maybe Walter White has rubbed off on him a little too much?
Cranston doesn’t star in Refn and Gosling’s follow-up to Drive, Only God Forgives, which originally premiered at Cannes and sees The Notebook actor star as an American criminal who is living in exile in Bangkok, running a Thai boxing club that fronts for a drugs business.
However, when his brother is killed by a prostitute, his mother, played by Kristin Scott Thomas, arrives in town and orders his get revenge.
Gosling told Empire, “This is the most extreme level I’ve ever been taken to. Certainly the violence is way more extreme! Certainly it resonates, there’s no doubt about that. It’s been intense.”
He also talked the mixed reviews to the film, stating that he doesn’t mind if people react harshly to his work.
Gosling stated, “That is what it is all about, because I know then that whatever I have done, I have touched you very deep. I have penetrated you. The real prize in my world is always the audience. Do people like what you do? Do they react to it? Do they love it? Do they hate it?”
