Dwayne Johnson is currently hard at work on the upcoming fantasy flick Hercules. The actor recently shared some images from the set on Twitter.
The wrestler and box office champ apparently doesn’t like to sit still for too long these days. Despite being attached to numerous franchises already, Johnson is currently filming the adventure for Brett Ratner, MGM, and Paramount Pictures.
To show his fans and followers just how hard he’s working, Dwayne Johnson recently shared a couple of photos from Hercules on his Twitter page. You can find the images embedded below.
The first pic the actor shared on the micro-blogging site shows off a handful of the weapons used on the set of the upcoming fantasy. Judging from Johnson’s comments, he’s incredibly impressed with the attention to detail the FX team is putting into the flick.
“We have the best film designers in the world. Respects the mythology with great detail,” Dwayne Johnson wrote.
The next Hercules image uploaded by the actor features several nasty scars on the actor’s shoulder. Eagle-eyed fans can also get a glimpse of his long hair on the feature. Where did these scars come from? The star has a few ideas.
“Hair-make up trailer — ‘Hercules.’ Asked how I got my shoulder slice scars. From a satisfied woman with long a** nails,” Johnson joked.
While you’d think he’d be content with the big-budget Hollywood franchises he’s currently involved with at the moment, it would seem the actor is being courted for yet another series. The Inquisitr previously reported Dwayne Johnson is being eyed for a role in Terminator 5.
According to reports, The Rock could wind up playing a murderous robot sent back in time to kill Sarah Connor’s parents. The rumors also suggest franchise staple Arnold Schwarzenegger will portray a real live human in the flick. None of these reports have been confirmed just yet.
