Carly Rae Jepsen Defends Justin Bieber, Says Media Is Too Hard On Pop Star

Carly Rae Jepsen defended Justin Bieber today saying that the media is often too hard on the young singer.

Jepsen, 27, rose to fame with the help of Bieber and recently opened up about her mentor during an interview with Billboard.

Jepsen said: “I feel like Justin’s a guy who’s working hard every day, and I think the media can sometimes be a little brutal with stuff and over-exaggerate things.

Bieber has been in the media recently for several questionable activities. He’s been accused of reckless driving through his neighborhood, recently ran over a paparazzi with his car, and may or may have not been stoned in an Instagram video.

Jepsen said that Bieber is only 19-years-old and he’s dealing with his fame the best he can.

Jepsen said: “I stand by him. I support him. I think he’s a good guy, and he’s doing the best he can.”

Carly Rae Jepsen isn’t the only one to comment on Justin’s recent behavior. Kid Rock recently said that Justin was going to be the new Vanilla Ice and that he was going to be a long, slow, and painful ride to the bottom.

What do you think? Is Carly Rae Jepsen right? Isthe media too hard on Justin Bieber?
