Ivanka Trump Talks Parenting With Second Child On The Way [Video]

Ivanka Trump has received plenty of praise this week for her comments on being a good parent. The daughter of billionaire Donald trump has a 23-month-old daughter of her own with a second child with husband Jared Kushner on the way.

The 31-year-old isn’t your average mother as she’s spent most of her life in the spotlight, but that hasn’t stopped her from teaching her daughter Arabella correct manners.

“Arabella isn’t even 2, so she hasn’t thrown me the challenges of a teenager … but I have a feeling I’m going to be pretty strict,” Trump told US Weekly about her daughter. “My mother laid down pretty concrete guidelines and the concept of ‘because I said so’ was a totally viable option.”

With her busy schedule and commitments, Trump’s parenting strategies have become an instant hit with fellow mothers around the world as she works to “desperately” teach her child the correct manners with a second baby coming this fall.

One thing’s for sure, Ivanka Trump has no plans of spoiling Arabella, though she’s also learning how to be a better parent herself.

“The one thing I won’t tolerate is her being spoiled or bratty or having poor manners,” she added. “That’s one area [in which] I’ll be very strict.”

Baby steps are usually the best way to go, and Trump has already begun to make strides with Arabella as she’s soon to become the big sister.

“We’re navigating the sharing thing right now,” Trump said in the interview. “I think we’re, like, 70 percent of the way there.”

Celebrities are regularly singled out for their odd behavior or mishaps in daily life, but Donald Trump’s daughter has officially proved she has her father’s strict nature and a respect for parenting that has found plenty of support from parents all over the nation.
