BitBop Enters Beta Mode With BlackBerry Devices

Bitbop today announced that they have official launched their beta program. The program is currently available for four BlackBerry devices and provides TV shows for 25 networks including CBS, Fox and NBC.

Bitbop has kept Android and iPhone devices out of early testing, however those devices are expected to receive the service at a later time.

According to Electronista:

No fixed timetable is set for the deployment of the official service beyond a general spring window. When it goes live, it should cost about $10 per month for access to the full catalog over both 3G and Wi-Fi.

The service was thought up by Fox and is believed to be the companies answer to Hulu and will more than likely offer some type of paid service once it officially launches.
