Concrete USB Drive? It’s Worth It’s Weight In…Well Pretty Much Nothing

USB Drives may come in all shapes and forms, including military grade options for extra durability, but let’s face it you can’t fend off a mugger with those drives and then pull up your term paper with it at a later time, but Shu-Chun Hsiao is looking to change that.

His USB “Memory Weights” feature 1 gram of concrete for every gigabit of available memory, for example 128GB weigh 128g.

Hsiao even wants to print the weight on the external part of the concrete to coincide with it’s memory capacity.

Sorry folks, these are still just a concept and will probably stay that way, in the meantime you can soak your USB drive in quick drying cement.
