‘Real Housewife’ Bethenny Frankel has baby girl in NYC

Real Housewives star Bethenny Frankel and husband Jason Hoppy met their new baby, a girl, a month early yesterday at New York Presbyterian Hospital yesterday.

A rep for Frankel commented toE!:

“Bethenny and Jason are proud to welcome their new baby girl…born at 8 a.m…. in New York City. She is a 4 lb. 12 oz., healthy baby. Bryn, mom, dad and [their dog] Cookie are all very happy.”

The couple had less time as newlyweds together than they’d originally planned- Hoppy and Frankel married on March 28th, and the baby arrived a month early yesterday. If you heard initial reports that the baby was a boy, that’s down to misinformation from fellow Real Housewife Jill Zarin, who posted on Facebook:

Just home from co-hosting LXTV today. What a thrill. Heard Bethenny had a baby boy…so happy for her and Jason. So happy for them.

Baby (girl) Bryn Hoppy is the couple’s first child.
