Halo: Reach beta hitting early problems, Bungie on the case


The Halo: Reach beta commenced earlier today, but already many players are having problems connecting to matches. That’s why it’s a beta, I guess!

Anyway, worry not, ye lil’ fraggers, for Bungie knows what’s up (or down, in this case). The developer admits servers are simply being overwhelmed by 200,000 Mountain Dew-swigging Master Chief wannabes all logging on simultaneously. This from the Bungie blog:

“We’re aware and working to resolve slow matchmaking times and inaccessible playlists. As soon as we’re back up and running at full capacity, we’ll make some noise. Stay tuned for more information and thanks for your patience.”
