Charlie Sheen’s Ex-Wife Checks Herself Out Of Betty Ford

Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller has reportedly checked herself out of Betty Ford.

The Anger Management star’s former wife decided to seek help for drug addiction at the rehabilitation facility not too long ago. However, Mueller recently decided to leave the center to find another place that could help address her problem.

Insiders told TMZ that Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife chose to find another facility that could help her get sober and back into the swing of things. Although the Betty Ford Center is good for “detoxing,” Brooke Mueller didn’t think they could assist her with the eventual return to society.

Sheen’s ex is now headed to a rehabilitation facility somewhere in Orange County. However, the exact place hasn’t been revealed to the public as of this writing.

Another batch of sources also told TMZ that Mueller is interested in getting custody of her twins when she completes her stay in rehab. However, officials at the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services are attempting to prevent Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife from getting custody of her kids. They are currently under the care of Denise Richards.

According to Entertainmentwise, Brooke Mueller isn’t the only famous Betty Ford patient who decided to leave the facility for another location. Lindsay Lohan also checked out of the center earlier this week. The troubled actress is now reportedly seeking treatment at the Cliffside Clinic in Malibu.

Lohan’s handlers, along with the judge and prosecutor, felt Betty Ford was only good for the first 30 days of her 90-day court-ordered stint in rehab. She will finish up her treatment at Cliffside Clinic instead. The Canyons star will be back on the street in a couple of months.

In other Charlie Sheen news, the former Two and a Half Men star recently got into a war of words with Teen Mom 2 alum Farrah Abraham. Although she’d hoped to land a role on Anger Management or possibly date the actor, Sheen doesn’t seem too interested.

“Please send my number to middle earth and if allowed, eagerly follow it into said abyss and slam the door behind you,” he said in a recent communication to the porn star.
