Amanda Bynes Receives Twitter Apology From Cher

Amanda Bynes has become a specialist in calling out celebrities for their looks on Twitter, but it doesn’t seem to be having an affect on any of them. Most notably, the once teen idol has been on the case of Miley Cyrus, Cher, and Drake for being “ugly,” which has added to the long list of social media bashings the 27-year-old has handed out of late.

The circus surrounding Bynes’ lifestyle has become a major topic of discussion across the nation. Some people are under the impression that the entire ordeal is a performance by the longtime actress while others have blamed her activity on having “multiple personalities” and other mental health issues.

The Twitter world has also chimed in, raising concerns that drug abuse may be a factor. Bynes has shunned away any and all reports of being on drugs as she tweeted on Thursday.

“For those asking, I’m voicing my opinion,” she said. “I’ve been asked if I do drugs, I don’t do drugs for the last time!”

It’s hard not to wonder: Why voice an opinion about your alleged “drug habits” instead of just making a statement? It seems Amanda Bynes is even confused as to the rumors.

Her ongoing Twitter wars with fellow celebs has continued to cause a stir on the web, and she recently had a go at Cher for being “ugly and a flop.” The 67-year-old singer responded to being asked if she was mad about Bynes’ comments and her original answer was as classic as ever.

This obvious response has been used over and over again and it’s regularly used to make a point. Cher then followed it up by sending an apology to Bynes, though she really didn’t need to.

There’s no telling if or when Bynes will respond to Cher’s apology, but it’s sure to be an interesting one if she ever does. The circus of Ms. Bynes on Twitter has been rather quiet as of late.

“I could never marry a German because I’m Jewish,” is her latest tweet that received some attention. Is Amanda Bynes becoming the queen of Twitter?
