Jennifer Lopez Gets Movie Role During Live Radio Interview

You never know when you’re going to get the call. Jennifer Lopez learned about her new movie role right in the middle of a radio interview.

Lopez was talking to the DJ at Hot 99.5 in Washington D.C. when someone handed her a telephone. Lopez couldn’t hide her excitement and nearly started crying when she learned the good news.

Radio DJ Toby Knapp asked the former American Idol judge about what happened and Lopez told him that she had just landed a movie role.

Lopez said: “I just got this movie I wanted! It’s a great role and a lot of people wanted it. For a little actress like me that’s a big deal!”

The actress didn’t give any clues about her new part but it apparently was a very coveted role. Could J-Lo be playing a new super hero? Will she be in Star Wars Episode VII?

Lopez has appeared in movies like Selena, Anaconda, Out Of Sight, and Gigli (which is regarded by many as the worst movie ever made). Her most recent role came in the movie Parker where she starred opposite Jason Statham. She currently doesn’t have any projects in development on her IMDB page.
