Khloe Kardashian No Longer Stressed About Becoming A Mother [Video]

Khloe Kardashian is content to be an aunt.

Although she has been very open about her desire to have children with husband Lamar Odom, Kardashian said she no longer feels stressed out about becoming a mother. The youngest of the Kardashian sisters, the 28-year-old told MTV News that she isn’t as baby crazy as she has been made out to be.

“I don’t think anyone’s ever really 100 percent ready. I definitely want to have kids, but I think, and I don’t regret doing anything; I don’t regret exposing anything about my life or my personal wishes for babies,” she said. “I just think people really took that and spun with it. And [they] wanted to say I’m desperate to have a baby.”

Kardashian added, “I’m 28 years old [and] I’ve been married almost four years now. I’m still in my newlywed phase is what I call it, so whenever it’s time for me to have a baby, that’s when it’s gonna be time.”

Kardashian and Odom were married in September 2009 after dating for a month. Since then, the couple have been trying to get pregnant but to no avail. So when Kim Kardashian got pregnant, many wondered how her little sister would take the news. Reports ranged from happy to desperate to jealous and everything in between, but it seems Kardashian has come to terms with the fact that her older sisters have become mothers before her.

Kardashian is more releaxed and accepting of the fact that she and Odom will get pregnant when the time is right.

“It just got way too stressful, but I feel like I let a lot of outsiders stress me out more than I really … than I would have let myself on my own,” she said. “So I took a step back and was like ‘Everything happens for a reason.’ And I’m totally cool and content, so whatever happens, happens.”
