Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger share a prison wall in the first poster for the upcoming thriller Escape Plan.

Directed by Mikael Hafstrom, the film finds the two action heroes joining forces yet again. The duo previously teamed up for both The Expendables and The Expendables 2. However, the pair will likely share more screen time in Hafstrom’s upcoming endeavor.

Escape Plan (formerly known as The Tomb) casts Sylvester Stallone as a “structural-security authority” who finds himself locked up in a prison of his own design. In order to figure out who framed him for the crime he didn’t commit, he’ll have to use his expertise to escape.

Judging from the poster you see embedded below, Stallone will have some help from co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Not only does Escape Plan bring together these two titans of 80s action cinema, the flick also sports quite a few talented players. Also on-board for the project are Sam Neill, Vincent D’Onofrio, Vinnie Jones, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Jim Caviezel, and Amy Ryan.

Although the post you see embedded below has started to make the rounds online, Escape Plan doesn’t have a proper trailer as of this writing. Since the film’s release date is just around the corner, chances are this will change in the coming months.

Sylvester Stallone is currently busy putting together the cast for the next installment of his action franchise The Expendables. The actor is currently eyeing Jackie Chan, Nicolas Cage, and Milla Jovovich for roles in the sequel. Wesley Snipes, fresh from his stint in prison, has reportedly signed on to co-star in the flick.

The poster for the prison escape thriller is below. The image first appeared on The Arnold Fans Facebook page.
