The Guardians Of The Galaxy doesn’t have the name recognition of Captain America or Iron Man but with the current cast, director James Gunn, and Marvel’s recent string of blockbuster hits, Guardians could rival the new Star Warswhen it arrives next summer.

Benicio Del Toro won an Oscar for his work in Traffic and was nominated for an Oscar for his role in 21 Grams.

The actor is currently working with on the movie Inherent Vice and will soon be seen as Pablo Escobar in Paradise Lost.

Del Toro isn’t an actor normally associated with big sci-fi epics but lets hope that he goes all out for Guardians. Anyone want to see Benicio Del Toro play the giant purple god Thanos?
