Jockey Bra Sizes System Solving The Sizing Problem?

Will Jockey bra sizes solve the bra sizing problems that face many women?

The new Jockey bra sizes system supposedly will make a difficult day finding the right sized bra a thing of the past. No more problems with bras being too tight.

The Jockey bra sizes solution provides 10 cups to custom fit your “3-d sizing” and also include a measuring tape. The jockey bra sizes system is called the Jockey’s Volumetric Fit System. It works by measuring the volume of a woman’s breast plus an under-bust measurement, with the volumetric sizes running from 1 through 10.

“It took us eight years to develop the new Jockey bra and its revolutionary Volumetric Fit System,” Sally Tomkins, Jockey’s senior vice president of design, research and development.

Bra sizing research found:

  • Three out of four women have difficulty finding a bra that fits properly.
  • Eighty-five percent are wearing the wrong size.
  • Fifty-three percent of women have never been professionally fit for a bra.

I asked my wife about this and she wasn’t really sure how this works, but she thinks the Jockey bra sizing system seems like it would be harder. She does not see how plastic cups to “fit you perfect” could get an accurate fit.

What if the smallest cup is not small enough or the biggest cup is not big enough? The Jockey bra sizes system might lead those women on a wild goose hunt where they are always trying to find the perfect fit.

Do you think this Jockey bra sizing system will actually work for women?
