Netflix Begins Shipping Nintendo Wii Discs To “Test” Customers

Netflix is getting closer to releasing their streaming technology to Nintendo Wii customers, but only after they complete a final round of testing involving actual Netflix Wii using customers.

Discs (required for use) began shipping today to select customers who will be able to test the program and offer their final feedback so the program can be tweaked and eventually distributed to all of the companies Wii using customers.

The program will be used in unison with the movie providers unlimited streaming program which currently costs $8.99/month.

With the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles already featuring Netflix technology it’s about time that the world’s number one selling system received some credit where credits do.

If you get to try out the program leave your comment and let us know what you think. In the meantime I’ll be waiting patiently for my disc to arrive.
