Mindy Kaling Spends $1.7 Million On Hollywood Home
Mindy Kaling has just bought a new home up in the Hollywood Hills for $1.7million, and it possesses some absolutely beautiful and mesmerising views of Los Angeles.
The comedic actress, who writes and stars in Fox’s The Mindy Project and starred in the United States’s version of The Office, spent around $1.7million on the home in Hollywood Hills, which went through on May 10.
Her new abode is part of Hollywood’s most exclusive areas, the neighbourhood is referred to as The Bird Streets,and also possesses stunning views of the Pacific oceans. But it is still in desperate need of extensive renovations.
The are gathered the nickname because of the winding mountain roadways, each of which are named after different species of birds.
Kaling’s new home is a three-bedroom abode, but according to the real estate listing it is under, it is said to be in poor condition and needs to be remodelled. However it has the necessities in place to become somebody’s dream home if they have the money to splash on the palace.
There are also clear signs of damage, which includes water marks on the wooden floor. Despite its condition, the house is worth so much money because of its prized location and the potential that it possesses.
According to the Daily Mail, the 1,599sqft home has three and a half bathrooms, a deck, and a small tree-lined garden that also has flagstone pathways.
The property also has unobstructed panoramic views of downtown Los Angeles and a view of the ocean from its deck.
It is thought that Kaling will stay in her other home, which she bought for $1.5million in 2007, whilst the renovations take place. However it is only a few blocks away from her new place so she will be able to keep an eye on its progress.
