Soccer Player Drops Pants In Celebration Of Goal, Gets Ejected

When a soccer goal is scored ,players have made it a habit of removing their shirts, pretending to fly around like airplanes, and even sliding around the field. In the case of Macedonian midfielder Mario Djurovski, he chose to remove his pants.

Djurovski plays for the Thai soccer club Muangthong United.

After scoring his goal, Muangthong takes off his shorts, places them on top of his head, and points to the stands.

Not happy with the player’s actions, a referee skipped over the yellow card and handed a red car which ejected Djurovski from the game.

On the one hand, it was a strange display of celebration; on the other hand, at least he was wearing underwear.

Mario Djurovski started his professional soccer career on loan to OFK Mladenovac in 2003. This is the first time we have witnessed Mario removing his pants in celebration of a goal.

Here’s the official video with the players very nice goal and strange pants free celebration.

Do you think the players’ overzealous actions earned him his red card, or was he just having a bit of fun that went too far?
