Joe Francis ‘Retarded’ Jury Rant, Phony-Sounding Apology By ‘Girls Gone Wild’ Founder

The Joe Francis retarded jury rant to The Hollywood Reporter Stephen Galloway was a lot deeper than an angry drunk using a forbidden word. As the Girl Gone Wild founder has acknowledged himself in his rather defensive apology, he spoke to Galloway over a six hour period of time.

Calling the jury “mentally f****g retarded” and saying that they should be “euthanized” as “the weakest members of the herd,” 40-year-old Francis went a verbal rampage that didn’t hold anything back.

“[I]f that jury wants to convict me because I didn’t show up, which is the only reason why they did, then, you know, they should all be lined up and shot!”

As Galloway described the scene in his exclusive interview, Joe Francis was drinking heavily throughout as he lashed out in anger after his recent conviction for false imprisonment, saying that anybody who criticizes him is just a jealous guy with a small penis.

The short version is that Joe Francis hates everybody, from the little guy too unintelligent to get out of jury duty to casino mogul Steve Wynn himself.

After the interview was published Thursday, Joe Francis apparently had a chance to see how his drunken rant looked in cold black-and-white. He then contacted The Hollywood Reporter again to issue a new statement:

“I deeply regret the remarks attributed to me…They were hurtful and do not reflect my true feelings. While I disagree with the jury’s verdict as I am completely innocent of the charges and intend to appeal, I was afforded a fair trial.”

Well, that started out calmly enough. However, the real Joe Francis soon came shining through, as he went on to say:

“All that was publicized were my most intemperate remarks … My comments are appalling, but anyone who has ever been wrongfully convicted of a crime that they did NOT commit would be as frustrated as I am…I hope everyone will understand I was not being serious and that I fully and deeply apologize for my remarks.”

So he’s sorry, but he didn’t really mean it anyway, and the whole Joe Francis retarded comment was blown out of proportion by yet another evil reporter out to get him.

Heck of an apology, dude! All that’s left is for Francis to accuse Galloway of having a small penis.
