T-Mobile Announces HTC HD2 With March 24th Release Date

It’s official, the popular HTC HD2 Smartphone will be hitting the T-Mobile network on Wednesday, March 24th 2010 with a modest price of $200.

Of course you’ll have to sign a two year contract for that pricing and the phone requires a monthly contract with a data plan.

The HTC HD2 includes a 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen with 480×800 pixels of resolutions, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + A2DP, and a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and a dual LED flashlight. Users will also enjoy the built-in 3.5mm audio jack, microSDHC storage (currently up to 16GB), a built-in Sirf III GPS receive and 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The HTC Sense UI is also present. No WinMo 7 yet and we haven’t received confirmation of 1700Mhz AWS 3G abilities, but we’ll take what we can get on the T-Mobile network.

Users will also receive preloaded copies of Transformers and Transformers 2 on their devices, which sweetens up the devices pricing a little bit. [T-Mobile via Gizmodo]
