Dennis Rodman Drops In On The Kardashians At The Mall

Dennis Rodman isn’t having trouble keeping up with the Kardashians.

The controversial basketball player turned controversial diplomat was making a shopping trip Saturday to the Brea Mall when he happened upon Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who were making an appearance to support the debut of their summer collection for PacSun.

Dennis Rodman surprised the two youngest Kardashians, who were meeting with fans and signing autographs.

“lol surprise! Dennis Rodman everybody,” Kendall wrote on Instagram.

The shopping trip was a bit of a break for Rodman, who has taken on something of a political stature in the past few months. Earlier this year he made a trip to North Korea with the Harlem Globetrotters, one of the few American to visit the volatile country.

While in North Korea, Rodman spent considerable time with King Jong-Un, even going so far as to call him an “awesome guy.”

Rodman is now working to convince Jong-un to release American Kenneth Bae, who was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor for allegedly plotting to overthrow the North Korean government.

“I’m calling on the Supreme Leader of North Korea or as I call him ‘Kim,’ to do me a solid and cut Kenneth Bae loose,” he tweeted.

In the meantime, Dennis Rodman has turned his anger to President Obama for failing to work for Bae’s release.

“We got a black president [who] can’t even go talk to [Jong-un] … Obama can’t do s**t, I don’t know why he won’t go talk to him,” Rodman said.

Some people seem to think Rodman can pull off the diplomatic coup. He has built up a rapport with the North Korean leader, and was even urged by the Seattle Times to use the relationship to ask for Rae’s release.

Rodman added that the US can improve its relationship with North Korea and ease tensions by simply reaching out to Jong-Un.

“He asked me to give Obama something to say and do one thing. He wants Obama to do one thing, call him,” Rodman said.

Rodman told ABC’s This Week, “He loves basketball. … I said Obama loves basketball. Let’s start there.”

Dennis Rodman plans to return to North Korea on August 1, so he’s got plenty of time to hang out with the Kardashians before he leaves.
