The Sugarland singer took some time out of her hectic schedule to post a photo of newborn son Magnus Hamilton on her website JenniferNettles.com

Nettles and husband Justin Miller welcomed their little bundle of joy into the world this past December.

The Jennifer Nettles baby photo was posted on her official website just in time for Mother’s Day.

Nettle’s posted the photograph on her website and on Twitter where she left the message:

“So much love and joy on my first Mother’s Day … A very Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mamas.”

On her website Nettles explains her life as a new mother in a rather detailed account of her day-to-day life. In one passage on the website Nettle writes:

“I am also bursting at the seams with pride. It gives me great pleasure to say to you, Meet Magnus.”

Fans of Jennifer Nettles and her band Sugarland appeared to be ecstatic by the news as the first photo of mom and baby took the internet by storm, quickly becoming a top searched term on several top trending platforms.

Speaking to PEOPLE Nettles further rejoices in her sons birth:

“I’m so excited! He’s super, super sweet. We made a deal before he was born. I said, ‘Look, you can cook as long as you want, as long as you come out and latch like it’s your job and have a sweet demeanor.’ He kept his part of the bargain!”
