Liam Hemsworth’s Brothers Luke, Thor, Stage Miley Cyrus Intervention [Rumor]

Liam Hemsworth’s relationship with Miley Cyrus is unclear at this point, but a new report suggests that his brothers aren’t exactly thrilled with it and even staged an intervention in the recent past.

Us Weekly reports that Liam’s actor brothers Luke and Chris were so upset over his relationship with singer Miley Cyrus that they staged an intervention for him in April.

Specifically, “They want him to end the romance for good,” said an insider close to the family. Whatever they told him, it appears to have worked. They couple suspended their wedding plans indefinitely and have been slowly drifting apart.

The most recent evidence of a rift between Liam and Miley came May 1, when the singer partied at Beacher’s Madhouse in L.A. while Liam spent his time at Chateau Marmont. One insider said that the couple aren’t done, just working through things, but another says that Liam is “pulling away.”

Miley was cryptic as ever in a recent interview with V Magazine, saying that she and Liam are apart because of their respective careers.

“I’m not home with my boyfriend all the time. We work,” she said. “I don’t have time go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don’t. I’d rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him. And then I’m at the studio all day. He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio.”

That “boyfriend” throwaway got a lot of attention, as did her comments about her priorities of late.

“I put this record before everything, and I’ve never done that with anything,” Cyrus said. “I’ve put too much into this record to put anything else in front of it.”
