Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent has welcomed her first child and she shared the exciting news on Monday via her Instagram page. Fans had been anxiously awaiting this news and people wasted no time in congratulating her for the exciting arrival.
The photo that Kent shared showed her in her hospital bed holding her baby. Her blonde tresses were left messy as they framed her makeup-free face. She held the baby up to her bare chest and a blanket covered them both.
Lala kept the caption simple for the baby announcement. She wrote just "Ocean Kent Emmett," referencing her daughter's full name.
The Vanderpump Rules star didn't reveal little Ocean's face in this snapshot though. A standard white, blue, and pink-stripped knit had could be seen on the infant's head, and Lala grasped her newborn's hand, wrapping her tiny fingers around her index finger.
The reality television star looked straight at the camera with a slight smile as she snuggled the newborn in her arms.
Anna Kendrick has demonstrated her talents several times throughout her career.
Fans, co-stars and many of the 1.5 million followers of Lala's page were quick to enthusiastically embrace this news. In just the first three hours after the Vanderpump Rules star had revealed Ocean's arrival, the post had nearly 300,000 likes.
"I love you my gorgeous La and you little baby Ocean! I can't believe she's here!!" fellow Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute wrote.
"Beautiful mama! Love you! Proud of you!! Can't wait to meet Ocean," Katie Maloney-Schwartz noted.
In addition, more than 6,500 comments poured in from people during those first few hours.
"Wow wow congratulations @lalakent and the name!!! Wow amazing so so so happy for you!" James Kennedy gushed.
Page Six notes that the baby's middle name was chosen as a nod to Lala's late father. Kent Burningham passed away in 2018 in his sleep. Born Lauren Elyse Burningham, Lala chose Kent as part of her stage name and now has incorporated it into her daughter's name too.
On Sunday, Randall shared a photo via his Instagram page showing his fiancee at the hospital, preparing for the delivery.
"She's healthy, beautiful, and perfect like her mother!" Randall wrote on Monday in a post sharing the same photo of Lala and Ocean.
Randall's post received plenty of love just like Lala's. Comments poured in from folks like Jesse Metcalfe and Chad Michael Murray as well as from Vanderpump Rules personalities Stassi Schroeder and Brittany Cartwright.
Lala revealed her pregnancy news last fall on her birthday.
