Ronda Rousey Covers ESPN Magazine

Ronda Rousey is back on the cover of ESPN The Magazine.

The UFC women’s bantamweight champion previously covered the magazine in 2012 for the Body Issue. This time around, the female fighter was chosen for an individual cover celebrating the magazine’s 15th anniversary.

According to Yahoo Sports, ESPN created three additional covers featuring Robert Griffin III, Bryce Harper and Black Griffin.

Rousey’s recent ESPN The Magazine cover solidifies her place as one of America’s premiere athletes. She’s one of the main reasons that UFC president Dana White decided to take a chance on Women’s MMA fighting and Rousey has quickly become the face of the sport.

Rousey is one of the biggest names in the WMMA at the moment and her star is only getting brighter. She’ll soon appear opposite Cat Zingano as a coach in The Ultimate Fighter.

You’ll have to wait until Friday to read Rousey’s interview but ESPN The Magazine did give a little sneak peak on Twitter. Rousey described her signature elbow-breaking move, saying “It’s kind of like ripping off a turkey leg.”
