Snooki & JWoww Coming Back For A Third Season, MTV Confirms

Snooki & JWoww are coming back for a third season, though MTV may want to consider renaming it Snooki & JWoww & Lorenzo.

Since the show was renewed last year for its second season, its star Snooki has had a big change in her life as she cast aside her hard-partying life and had a baby boy, Lorenzo.

Viewers actually got to see Lorenzo’s birth during Season 2 of Snooki & JWoww. The emotional moments captured by the television cameras included Snooki’s parents getting misty eyed at hearing their grandson cry for the first time.

Snooki had initially decided to keep the birth private, asking MTV to keep the cameras out of the delivery room. But she ultimately changed her mind.

Producer Sally Ann Salsano told Entertainment Weekly:

“[Snooki’s fiance] Jionni shot it. We said, ‘We don’t need that to tell the story. That’s your own personal time.’ Then afterwards Snooki was like, ;You know what? I want to share it.’ ”

The third season of the show would promise viewers the chance to see what kind of mother the self-professed “guidette” becomes, and what role Lorenzo’s godmother JWoww might play.

MTV is trying to raise expectation for the show’s third season.

“Twice is nice, but the third time is definitely the charm,” MTV announced on Thursday. “Snooki & JWOWW fans can finally rest easy as MTV has confirmed the guidette BFFs will officially be back for Season 3 to continue sharing their stories of motherhood and engagement bliss over many a gossipy brunch. Better stay on your toes, tri-state area, because when these ladies get together, there’s no telling what’ll happen. Are we in for a double dose of leopard-print weddings?! We can only hope…”

The upcoming season of Snooki & JWoww could also feature nuptials for both Jersey Shore alums, who both got engaged within the past year.
