Joe And Tina Simpson’s Divorce Finalized

Joe and Tina Simpson are officially divorced.

After filing papers last September, the Simpsons had their divorce finalized by a Texas judge on April 22. The court papers said the marriage had “become insupportable because of the discord or conflict of personalities between [Tina] and [Joe]” which prevented “any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”

As part of the divorce settlement, Tina Simpson agreed to a 50 percent split of the couple’s fortune and assets, which includes the multimillion fashion line she manages for daughter Jessica.

When the couple’s split was announced last fall, a representative for the family said, “It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved. Any other related allegations are completely false.”

The rep was addressing rumors that Joe Simpson was having an affair with a 20-year-old male. An unnamed source told the National Enquirer that Simpson gathered his family and told them he tried to make his marriage work, but he could no longer deny that he had feelings for men. A male escort had also claimed that Simpson paid him $600 for sex.

The former Baptist pastor promptly denied the accusations, calling them “ridiculous.” The young man with whom Simpson was allegedly having affair, a model named Bryce Chandler Hill, also denied the rumors, writing on Twitter, “Yes, I’ve read the story … it’s simply NOT TRUE.”

While Joe and Tina Simpson are finally split up, their family is about to get a little bit bigger. Jessica Simpson is currently pregnant with her second child, a son, with fiancé Eric Johnson. She is already mom to daughter Maxwell, who will be a year old on May 1. And that’s not all. The two are also grandparents to daughter Ashlee’s son, 4-year-old Bronx Mowgli Wentz.
