‘Vanilla Ice Goes Amish’ With New Reality Show

Vanilla Ice is going Amish.

The singer, best known for his hit “Ice Ice Baby,” will soon be starring in a new reality show called Vanilla Ice Goes Amish for the DIY Network.

The show will be about … OK, so you already know exactly what the show will be about. Vanilla Ice will get thrown into an Amish community where he’ll learn to build things without the use of electricity.

This will be the singer’s second show for the DIY network. The Vanilla Ice Project featured the singer doing renovations to his 7,000 square-foot Palm Beach mansion. Each episode focused on a different room as Ice, real name Robert Van Winkle, and his crew rehabbed his crib.

Vanilla Ice Goes Amish doesn’t have a release date yet but according to TV Guide it will premiere sometime this year.

The DIY Network also announced that it was working on new series featuring Joseph “Reverend Run” Simmons from Run DMC and Daryl Hall from Hall Oats. Both shows will be similar to The Vanilla Ice Project and feature home renovations.

Here’s a video of the singer working in his garage.
